In honor of Independence Day, the National Bank issued five types of collectible coins. According to Alexey Faleev, head of the cash management department, silver and copper-nickel coins have been put into circulation. The coins feature "Barsbek – the kagan of the Kyrgyz," "The Tomb of Manas," and "The Owl," which is listed in the Red Book. A distinctive feature of the silver coin is its striking relief highlighting.
