Since December 20, 2011, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has introduced into circulation a collectible silver coin “The World of Our Children” with a denomination of 10 som as part of the International program of the Eurasian Economic Union countries for the issuance and sale of collectible coins made of precious metals.
The main unifying element of the entire series of collectible coins issued by the central (national) banks of the Eurasian Economic Union countries is the emblem of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The main theme of the silver coin “The World of Our Children” is a drawing by Asein kyzy Aym, a student of the 5th “G” class of Gymnasium No. 29 in Bishkek – the winner of the contest “The World Through My Eyes.” The design depicts a girl with a flower, a meadow, and the sun. The lower part of the coin indicates the denomination (10 som), the fineness, and the weight of the metal (Ag 925/31.10 g). The reverse side of the coin features the emblem of the Kyrgyz Republic and the year of issue (2011).
Each silver coin is placed in an acrylic capsule and packaged in a separate box, accompanied by a certificate.
Specification of the collectible coin
The collectible coin has international “proof” quality and the status of an official means of payment on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
