Since May 4, 2005, the National Bank has put into circulation the collectible coin "60 years of the Great Victory" with a denomination of 10 som.
The collectible coin, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, is minted from sterling silver and has international "proof" quality. The coin has the status of an official means of payment on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On the obverse side of the coin, there is a figure of the Mother-Patriot, the Eternal Flame, and elements of the memorial complex "Victory" (designed by the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, sculptor T. Sadykov), with a stylized image of a yurt against the backdrop of the mountain ranges of Kyrgyzstan in the background.
On the reverse side of the coin, the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic is depicted. In the center of the coat of arms, against the backdrop of a lake and the foothills of Ala-Too, with the sun rising above them, is an image of a white falcon with outstretched wings, symbolizing the freedom and independence of Kyrgyzstan. At the bottom of the coin, the year of minting (2005) is indicated.
To avoid damage, the coins are placed in acrylic capsules. Each coin is housed in a separate box with an attached certificate.
