On November 25, at 9:30 AM, the international conference "Modern Media: Challenges and Risks" will open at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin in Bishkek.
The event is organized by the Eurasian Foundation - New Wave, the MIA "Russia Today," and the Department of International Journalism at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin.
The conference will discuss issues related to the work of modern media in the context of new geopolitical realities and information confrontation.

Ella Taranova (Russia), head of the Baltic and CIS editorial office of MIA "Russia Today," with a report titled "Modern Media: New Challenges and Risks";
Rostislav Ishchenko (Russia), President of the Center for System Analysis and Forecasting, with a report titled "Information Confrontation: Media and New Geopolitical Realities";
Semyon Uralov (Russia), editor-in-chief of the media project "However. Eurasia," with a report titled "Journalism in Conditions of Local Conflicts";
Alexander Zelichenko (Kyrgyzstan), director of the Public Foundation "Central Asian Center for Drug Policy," with a report titled "Report from a Hot Spot";
Igor Kovalenko (Kyrgyzstan), photo correspondent of the European Pressphoto Agency, with a report titled "Capturing the Truth of Life. The Profession of a Photo Correspondent."
The conference will feature the opening of a photo exhibition of works by Andrei Stenin (Russia) and Igor Kovalenko (Kyrgyzstan) on the second floor of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin.
