Osh Celebrates Its 3018th Anniversary
At the symposium "Dialogue of Cultures in the Ancient City," two individuals received commendation certificates from the Parliament
On October 4, an international scientific and practical symposium titled "Dialogue of Cultures in the Ancient City of Osh" was held at Osh State University, dedicated to the celebration of the city's 3018th anniversary.
During the event, welcoming speeches were made by the chairman of the city council, Japarbek Ormonov, the vice-mayor of Osh, Asylbek Topchubaev, the vice-rector for science of OshSU, I. Kenjaev, as well as the head of the foreign delegation, the chairman of the Interstate Union of Public Associations "Leaders of World Communities." The event was also attended by deputies of the Osh City Council, faculty members, and representatives of the scientific community from Osh universities.
As part of the opening ceremony of the symposium, a commendation certificate from the Jogorku Kenesh was awarded to Larisa Gorchakova, the chairman of the Interstate Union of Public Associations "Leaders of World Communities," for her fruitful and selfless work in borderless peacebuilding, her contribution to the promotion of spiritual, moral, and family values, and her support for young talents in Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, a commendation certificate from the Jogorku Kenesh was awarded to Mamatiybraim Samiev, an associate professor at OshTU and candidate of technical sciences, for his contribution to the education of young specialists and his commendable work.
During the plenary sessions, symposium participants presented reports:
- Kanyshay Nurdinova (Kyrgyzstan) – PhD, professor at the Faculty of International Relations of OshSU, with a report on "The Current State of International Relations in the Kyrgyz Republic";
- Chynykhan Satybaldieva – PhD in History, associate professor at the Faculty of History of OshSU, with a report on "The Ornamental World of the Kyrgyz: Reflections of Cultural Parallels";
- Liliana Bulatovich-Medic (Serbia) with a report on "World Leaders in Kyrgyzstan. Culture is the Foundation of Life."
There was also a report on "International Charity as an Aspect of Cultural Dialogue."
