Festival of Technical Sports

Festival of Technical Sports

This coming weekend, specifically on Sunday, August 31, a techno-festival will take place in the village of Baytik at the sports and technical club "Baytik - Extreme," dedicated to the celebration of the 23rd anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence. The program includes: performances by bikers, flights on motorized hang gliders, parachute jumps, a parade of aviation, automotive, and motorcycle technology, karting races, tasting of national cuisine, and much more.

According to the festival organizers, the main goal of the event is to showcase the achievements and demonstrate the capabilities of aviation, automotive, and motorcycle clubs, as well as the Federations of technical sports. Additionally, it aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and military-patriotic education among teenagers and youth.

- The date of our festival was chosen deliberately, - said one of the organizers of the techno-show, Ivan Geletuk. - We initially planned to combine our festival with the celebration of Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day. The idea is to show city residents and guests of the capital an alternative to the usual festivities. Every year on August 31, people come to the square: they stroll, eat ice cream, listen to a festive concert, but we wanted to show something more. We invite Bishkek residents to visit our techno-festival. For the first time in one place, we will gather young people engaged in various technical sports. This includes bikers, motorcyclists, karting enthusiasts, and many others. For everyone interested, we have already arranged with the Bishkek city administration to organize a special bus that will take guests to the celebration site. We are still confirming the route number, but it is known that it will depart from the Central Department Store (TsUM).

It should be noted that the event is organized by the Union of Veterans of the Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and veterans of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic. The project coordinator is the children's and youth sports and technical club "Baytik - Extreme." The chairman of the organizing committee is the Minister of Labor, Migration, and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aliyasbek Alymkulov.
