On December 8, in Bishkek, at the Ala-Too club restaurant, the presentation of the first annual Wedding Awards 2015 took place. The event was organized by the company "EventDeluxe," with support from the International Wedding Federation.
The aim of the project was to identify the best specialists in 22 categories, without whom no modern wedding can take place: from wedding makeup artists to the best restaurant and hotel administrators for honeymoons.
For several months, people in Kyrgyzstan voted for the best representatives of the wedding industry in the city, and the names of those who made it to the shortlist were announced at the Ala-Too restaurant.
The Wedding Ball gathered all the nominees, guests, and voters the day before. Prominent figures from the country were present in the VIP section.
Additionally, among the ladies gathered at the event, there was a chance to win a prize from the award partners for the most beautiful evening dress that matched the Black Tie dress code of the evening. All winners were ceremoniously congratulated on stage under the spotlight with gift certificates ranging from 2000 som to 150,000 som.
As usual at such events, there was a show program featuring singing and dancing stars such as Mirbek Atabekov, Jan Voinov, and others. A special highlight of the evening was a Laser Show, which showcased light performances in complete darkness.
Organizer Salkynai Voinova stated that they gathered everyone to find out who made it to the top ten in each category. There were 22 categories. They also aimed to share experiences, exchange ideas, and simply have a good time.
Currently, standards and styles of weddings and celebrations in Kyrgyzstan are gradually changing… They are increasingly aligning with European standards. There is a greater emphasis on colorful decorations, for which professional designers, top hosts, stylists, and artists are invited. To preserve these memories for a long time, professional photographers and videographers are also hired. Accordingly, the best among them must also be chosen.
The shortlist of nominees for the Wedding Awards 2015 includes:

Best new generation host,
Best decorator,
Best artist,
Best stylist,
Best photographer,
Best couple,
Best bride.
Additionally, there will be a King and Queen of the Ball.
Only 10 individuals in each category made it to the semifinals, and the subsequent voting will continue for another 2 months.
