On December 25, a ceremony will be held in Bishkek to award the winners of the '100 Best Deeds for the Beloved Village/City' award, reports the Center for Public Technologies.
According to their data, the award winners are members of local communities from all regions of Kyrgyzstan.
“Kyrgyzstan needs heroes. Not only from the past. Modern heroes are needed too. Heroes who can show courage not only in battle or on the political stage, but also those who find in themselves the desire, strength, and something else that encourages them to do good every day,” note the award organizers.
It is also reported that the launch of the project was implemented to strengthen social ties through the “connecting threads” between generations, groups, and individuals.
The award ceremony is organized by the Center for Public Technologies with financial support from the Youth Program of the Soros-Kyrgyzstan Foundation.
