The "Jam and Pickles" Fair Took Place in Bishkek

By one o'clock in the afternoon, stalls with the first products from the fair participants appeared in "Elephants." Alongside the usual canned tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, apricots, strawberries, cherries, plums, and raspberries, visitors could try new types of preserves. For example, unusual jams made from nuts, gooseberries, barberries, blackberries, tangerines, eggplant salad, or plums in chocolate, as well as herbal teas. Visitors could also learn the recipes for their favorite products while placing their purchases in eco-bags. Nearby, an exhibition of children's drawings titled "My Park 'Elephants'" was set up in a "drying" format. While adults viewed the exhibition and purchased preserves, children played in the sandbox and learned to make traditional dolls from chia seeds and pieces of fabric. Soon, the active part of the event began: contests from the Boom Studio intellectual development studio and a performance by the star - Saltanat Ashirova, who happily sang several songs and signed autographs.
- We liked your exhibition, it was symbolic under the sound of a working crane behind the fence... Thank you for the initiative! And the children were indeed happy! The warm atmosphere was a success! - said Elena Pozdnyakova, one of the guests of the fair.
During the event, only 4,600 soms were raised, which will go towards lighting the park. The organizers, however, do not intend to give up and plan to hold more similar fairs to draw people out of the "online" world.
