Opening of the Most Fashionable Awards in Bishkek
The event took place at the "Saltanat Palace" restaurant. However, out of more than 1000 nominees who either self-nominated or were suggested by grateful clients during the list formation period, only a few made it: just 350 applicants plus media representatives and guests who decided to attend the event for networking. The reason is that not all applications met international standards, and not all categories had a sufficient number of participants.
The remaining candidates were selected quite rigorously. International standard titles, participation in international competitions and exhibitions, possession of licenses, official franchises, the number of social media followers, and reviews from well-known clients added positive points to the nominees. After passing through this peculiar "sieve," they had to prepare for the ceremony in a social reception format, choosing the perfect suit, cocktail or evening dress, as well as a hairdresser and makeup artist to perfect their appearance. The city's leading chefs and pastry chefs also prepared for the celebration, presenting their products for tasting at the buffet: from sweets to light snacks and drinks. In addition to the buffet, guests were treated to a show program. Between the announcements of nominations and nominees, dance groups, pop stars performing songs in four languages, and, of course, models showcasing designer boutiques of wedding and evening dresses, jewelry, furs, and pelts took to the restaurant stage.
The website for public voting for the nominees will open within a week. Everyone will be able to vote for those they consider truly deserving in each nomination. Based on the results of this voting, a "Final list" will be determined, which will include 3-5 nominees in each category. And already in early 2016, an international jury will select the "Most Fashionable."
