
Today, December 18, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Joomart Otorbaev, participated in the award ceremony for contributions to the organization and conduct of the tourist festival 'World Nomad Games'.
The Prime Minister noted that many significant events took place in Kyrgyzstan this year, and the 'World Nomad Games' hold a special place among them. "In the history of our state, we held an event of this scale for the first time. The leadership of neighboring countries noted that we managed to host an event of such a high level," emphasized Joomart Otorbaev.
The head of the Government reminded that the 'World Nomad Games' were held at the initiative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almazbek Atambayev, which he announced in 2011. "Thanks to the support of the people of Kyrgyzstan and Turkic-speaking countries, we were able to prepare and conduct the tourist festival in Kyrgyzstan in a short time," he stated.
Joomart Otorbaev thanked those involved in the organization and conduct of the tourist festival and presented them with Honorary Certificates from the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
