The XIV International Issyk-Kul Sports Games will take place from September 4 to 12. This was announced at a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and conduct of the games.
It is noted that the aim of the sports games is to develop and improve health and physical education activities, to maintain friendship among the peoples of the CIS, SCO member states, and sports organizations. "These games, held since 2001, have international status and are aimed at strengthening international ties and enhancing the image of the Kyrgyz Republic," said Deputy Prime Minister Elvira Sarieva.
Following the meeting of the organizing committee, Sarieva issued a number of instructions aimed at timely and comprehensive preparation for the sports games under the motto "Asia – a region of cooperation and peace."
