Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Joomart Otorbaev participated in the celebration of Nowruz in the city of Kant, where a festive concert took place and public festivities were held.
Speaking at the festive event, Joomart Otorbaev, on behalf of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and personally, congratulated the townspeople and all Kyrgyz citizens on the spring holiday of Nowruz.
“This day holds great significance for our people, as according to the calendar governed by the laws of nature, on the day of Nowruz, the great equinox occurs, when nature awakens, life is renewed, and a special uplift and bright expectations arise in the soul of a person. Our people have long awaited this holiday and have greeted it with good spirits, kind wishes, and new hopes,” said the Head of Government.
At the same time, as the Prime Minister noted, Nowruz is a symbol of spring, a rich harvest, and prosperity. “The beginning of the expected rich harvest in autumn is laid in spring. The early preparation of agricultural machinery and seeds for spring fieldwork in the Chui region this year is a good indicator,” he stated and expressed hope that this year would be a year of achieving new successes not only for the residents of the Chui region but for all Kyrgyz citizens.
In conclusion, the Head of Government once again congratulated the residents of the Chui region on the holiday and wished them health, longevity, family happiness, well-being, and prosperity.
