
On December 20, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Joomart Otorbaev, held a working meeting on the issues of preparing the country for accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. The meeting was attended by representatives of the President's Office, the Ministry of Economy, and other ministries and agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic involved in preparing the draft Agreement on the Accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the EAEU.
The head of the Government noted the positive dynamics of the preparation process for the country's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.
“Currently, active work is underway to implement the action plan for the country's accession to the Eurasian integration association; joining the Eurasian Economic Union is a priority task for the Government of Kyrgyzstan,” emphasized the head of the Government of the KR.
“Preparatory work for Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union is being carried out in full and is on schedule,” added Joomart Otorbaev.
Subsequently, the participants of the meeting discussed in detail the points of the draft Agreement on the Accession of the country to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union.
