Today's test voting became possible thanks to new remote voting systems that were demonstrated at the polling station in TSUM in Bishkek. Participants included public and political figures, journalists, and active citizens who had the opportunity to ask specialists questions about the process.
The participants of the testing noted the stable operation of both the new equipment and the system that allows voters to choose a polling station for remote voting.
The main goal of implementing remote voting is to create convenient conditions for voters. Every citizen included in the voter lists will be able to vote at any available polling station without bureaucratic obstacles. It is expected that such a system will increase voter turnout.
For the convenience of elections, polling stations will also be opened in various locations, such as airports, large markets, shopping centers, hospitals, and military units.
In addition, the creation of 41 additional polling stations abroad is planned.
