The 19th package of sanctions against Russia was recently approved by the European Union and published in the official EU journal.

According to the new restrictions, they apply not only to Russian companies and banks but also affect businesses from Central Asia, China, India, and Thailand.

The updated sanctions list includes 21 individuals and 42 legal entities, among which are several organizations from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, suspected of assisting in circumventing previously imposed restrictions. The EU has banned them from conducting any operations with European counterparties and accessing international payment systems.
Among the affected banks are Kyrgyz "Tolubai" and "Eurasian Savings Bank," as well as Tajik "Dushanbe City Bank," "Spitamen," and "Commercial Bank of Tajikistan." These restrictions will come into effect on November 12.
Sanctions against the payment service Payeer will take effect on November 25.

As previously reported in sources, the new measures also concern five Russian banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and oil traders operating through Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the UAE, Paraguay, and Hong Kong.

Additionally, the European Union has imposed a ban on the export of roses, rhododendrons, and azaleas to Russia. The restrictions also cover leaves, tree branches, parts of plants and flowers without buds, mosses, and lichens. The export of plastic toys with motors to the Russian Federation is prohibited.
