Olga Vidisheva, a native of Kyrgyzstan, has made it to the list of 30 successful young entrepreneurs of the current year according to Forbes. Her name appears in the "30 Under 30" ranking, which the American magazine annually includes to highlight youth who have achieved success in various fields. Olga, who founded the commercial internet project Shoptiques, through which one can shop at boutiques in the USA, made it to this thirty in the "Retail" category.
A graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard Business School, Olga Vidisheva has managed to work at one of the largest commercial banks in the world, Goldman Sachs, intern at Chanel in the marketing departments of "Fashion" and "Fragrance and Beauty," and even work as a model by the age of 29.
According to Vidisheva herself, the idea to establish Shoptiques came to her after she discovered that most boutiques in the USA do not have their own websites. By featuring information from about fifty stores on her portal, she gained attention from leading American media in less than a year. Today, Shoptiques, which earns a small commission from sales, has gathered around 1200 boutiques and small shops operating both in the United States and in Europe.
