Dave and Debra Corbeil on Kyrgyzstan

In ten years of traveling, the couple has visited 107 countries on all continents

The founders of the popular travel website The Planet D, Dave and Debra Corbeil, visited Kyrgyzstan at the end of August. The couple presented a colorful video about their journey through the republic.

“Kyrgyzstan was a major player on the Silk Road and, having gained independence in 1991, has undergone many changes. Two revolutions, economic difficulties… The country has only just begun to assert itself on the world stage as a wonderful place for travel,” the bloggers note.


The family from Canada also shared impressive photos from Kyrgyzstan on their official Instagram page.

The travel website The Planet D was launched in 2008, after the Corbeils completed a cycling trip from Cairo to Cape Town. Since then, they have traveled to 107 countries and visited all continents. Earlier this year, the American magazine Forbes included the founders of the travel blog in the top 10 most influential travel bloggers in the world.
