Daniel was born in the USA to immigrant parents from the Soviet Union. In 2015, he represented his country at the World Team Championship in Tsakhkadzor. In addition to this, he was actively involved in commentary and streaming.
According to the International Chess Federation (FIDE), Naroditsky ranked 151st in the world and 17th among chess players in the USA.
