Khamzaev eliminated in the quarterfinals of the U23 World Wrestling Championship

At the World Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling among youth (U23), which is taking place in Serbia, Kyrgyz wrestler Yryskeldi Hamzaev has completed his performances, as reported by Prosports.kz.

Competing in the weight category up to 72 kg, Hamzaev started the competition with an impressive victory over Serbian athlete Mihailo Alempievich, winning with a score of 9:0. However, in the quarterfinals, he was unable to advance further, as he lost to Armenian wrestler Gaspar Terteryan by a narrow margin — 3:5.

It is worth noting that earlier another wrestler from Kyrgyzstan, Nurbolot Toktogonov, also failed to win a medal at this tournament.
