U-23 World Championship: Kyrgyzstani lost the bronze match to an Egyptian coached by the former coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team

At the Youth World Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling in Serbia, Kyrgyz wrestler Kuttubek Abdurazakow was unable to win a bronze medal.

He competed in the weight category up to 63 kg and began his journey from the 1/16 finals.

Abdurazakow's first opponent was the Asian champion (U-20) from Uzbekistan, whom he managed to defeat. He then confidently won against a wrestler from India and in the quarterfinals, he claimed victory over the bronze medalist of the European Championship (U-15) from the Netherlands.

In the semifinals, the Kyrgyz wrestler faced Vitaliy Yeremenko, the bronze medalist of the adult world championship in 2025 from Moldova, and unfortunately, he suffered a defeat.

On October 21, Abdurazakow competed in the match for third place against Egyptian wrestler Adham Ayman Garib Abdu El-Sayed, whose team at the tournament is coached by Azat Erkimbaev, a former coach of the Kyrgyz national team.

The bout ended with a score of 2:3 in favor of the Egyptian, and Kuttubek finished in 5th place overall.
