The district akim, Ulan Sarylbek uulu, congratulated Ratbek on his success and expressed wishes for further victories. He emphasized that such achievements inspire the youth both in the district and across the country to engage in sports and strive for high results.
The Asian Judo Cup took place in the capital of Taiwan on July 13, where Ratbek competed in the weight category up to 81 kg, among 23 participants. On his way to the final, he defeated opponents from Indonesia, Korea, and Australia.
In the decisive match for the gold medal, the Kyrgyz athlete managed to defeat the British competitor Rory Tyrell.
