The outgoing 2015 was rich in both political and economic events, let's recall the most interesting and positive events of this year.
Children are our everything
According to modest estimates, in 2015, seven mothers in Kyrgyzstan gave birth to triplets, and one happy mother gave birth to four babies at once. As noted by medical professionals, the number of multiple births in our country has been increasing every year.
We are millions!
It is impossible not to mention a very loud event also related to an increase in population. On November 25 of this year, at 18:12, the six-millionth citizen of Kyrgyzstan, Aylin, was born into the family of Rakhmat Belekova in Osh. This event was celebrated by the entire country! A festive concert was held in the center of Bishkek, and the president instructed the government to provide the family with separate housing and ordered the opening of a deposit account for one million soms in the girl's name.

The outgoing year was particularly rich in celebrations on the central square of Bishkek. Festive concerts in honor of Mother's Day and Independence Day gathered tens of thousands of Kyrgyz citizens and provided them with a kaleidoscope of stars from Russian and foreign pop music.

The Kyrgyz national football team made a crazy leap in the FIFA rankings, thanks to matches in the qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup.
The women’s team is not lagging behind: Kyrgyz female football players have climbed 26 positions in the FIFA rankings since the beginning of the year.
Heritage of the Republic
The Kyrgyz yurt and the improvisational mastery of the akyns of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples in the art of aitys have been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. This decision was made at the ninth session of the intergovernmental committee in the capital of France.
It should be noted that the epic trilogy "Manas," "Semetey," and "Seitek," traditional Kyrgyz felt carpets ala-kiyiz and shyrdak, the holiday of Nowruz, and the art of storytellers of Kyrgyz epics have already been included in the World Heritage List.
Kyrgyzstan - a paradise for tourists
The travel service Travel.ru, together with Forbes, compiled a ranking of ten inexpensive ski resorts in Russia and neighboring countries that do not require a visa. The "Karako" base made it into the top 5 ski resorts of the CIS.
In general, Kyrgyzstan has improved its rankings in the tourism sector.

It is no secret that Bishkek hosts more and more concerts by foreign stars of pop music, ballet, and theater every year. We will not list them all, but this year there was something special. One of the oldest theaters in London, the "Globe," came to Bishkek as part of the Globe to Globe world tour. On November 7, a performance of "Hamlet" by the actors of the Shakespearean theater took place on the stage of the Abdumomunov Kyrgyz Drama Theater.
Overall, the cultural level of the republic continues to grow and develop. In the outgoing year, there were many festivals and flash mobs, competitions, and concerts: "Auto Slalom 2015," "Moto-Lady," "Auto Lady," the film festival "Kyrgyzstan - the Land of Short Films," the theater festival "Art-Ordo," the III Festival of World Epics, and the international festival of young performers "Making Asia." As they say, the list is endless. We can only believe and hope that there will be even more, even higher, and even stronger in the future!
