In a United Family!
The end of the year is a time for summarizing results and holding various festivals. The day before, a grand gala concert took place at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic of Kyrgyzstan, featuring representatives from various diasporas living in our country. More than 200 artists aged from 5 to 80 took to the stage, proving that one can shine with talent at any age.
The event was titled "The People of Kyrgyzstan in a United Family," and it fully justified its name during the performance. While high-ranking guests delivered welcoming speeches, Uzbeks, Russians, Kyrgyz, Ukrainians, Koreans, Tatars, and many other participants lined up on stage, showcasing the strength of unity.
- We are representatives of a united and multinational people of our country. The foundation of well-being remains: peace in the home and unity in the country, as well as friendship and harmony. These are the basic values that the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan tirelessly works to strengthen. With today's concert, we have proven the rich ethnocultural wealth our country possesses, - noted the Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan, Bektemir Murzubraimov.
The event was dedicated to the Year of Strengthening the National Economy and the upcoming VIII Kurultai of the People of Kyrgyzstan, which will be organized in the near future. The organizers were the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan and the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Interethnic Relations.
Kyrgyzstan is home to representatives of over 80 different nationalities. Representatives from most diasporas showcased their unique creative performances. The concert was incredibly captivating, as representatives of various ethnicities continuously took the stage. The first to appear before the audience were the Ethnic Kyrgyz - the ensemble "Kyz Kyial," followed by the delicate girls from the People's Amateur Collective of the Korean Public Association in Kyrgyzstan "Mannam," who delighted the audience with their graceful dances. They performed the piece "Eastern Wind," and as soon as the drumbeats faded, the ensemble "Karavan" from the Uzbek National Cultural Center appeared on stage. The audience was ready to dance to such lively rhythms and the sounds of the national trumpet "karnay." But they quickly shifted to a romantic mood as soon as the song "Blue Eternity" by Muslim Magomaev was performed by Faik Bakishev, representing the Azerbaijani Public Association "Azeri." And of course, how could the concert go without the lezginka? It was performed by dancers from three ensembles: "Uchkulan" of the International Association of Karachai "Ata-Zhurt," "Wolves of the Caucasus" of the Turkish Public Organization "Akhyska" in the Kyrgyz Republic, and the People's Amateur Collective "K'uanch" of the Balkars "Mingi Tau."
That evening, talents shone from creative groups such as the ensemble "Souvenir" of the Russian Cultural Center "Harmony," "Einheit" of the Council of Germans, the Chechen Cultural Center "Bart," the Ukrainian Folk Ensemble "Barvinok," the Tatar-Bashkir Cultural Center "Tugan Tel," and many others.
