Concert "RETRO-HITS of the 20th Century"
The State Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of Kyrgyzstan presents to you a new experimental project 'The Pop-Symphonic Orchestra of the Philharmonic' and invites you to the concert "RETRO-HITS of the 20th Century"!
May 4, 2015 will feature world-famous best works of the departing 20th century:
songs from the Soviet period and from beloved films (by composers Sardarbek Jumaliev, Nurak Abdrakhmanov, Zh. Maldybaeva, A. Pakhmutova, I. Krutoy, A. Petrov, G. Movsesyan, V. Lebedev, and others), jazz songs and orchestral miniatures of the past century by great American composers and performers: Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, Glenn Miller, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Henry Mancini, Consuelo Velasquez, and others.
You will hear popular songs in Kyrgyz, Russian, English, and Italian performed by the best soloists of Kyrgyzstan - Talant Abdildaev, Yulia Rutska, Ayana Kasymova, Viktoria Alyabyeva, Sultan Karimov, Erkin Turdubaev, Kuban Ashiraliyev, and other young and talented performers.
