On September 27, a cultural event "Korean Music Day in Bishkek" will take place at the T. Satylganov Kyrgyz Philharmonic.
According to the Embassy of Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic, the concert will feature famous Korean musicians — Professor Bae Il Hwan from Ewha Womans University (cello), pianist Kim Kyung Min, Professor Jo In Sang from Sangmyung University (piano), lecturer Kim Yoo Seon from Ewha Womans University (gayageum), student Kim Kyung Hong from Ewha Womans University (pansori), and lecturer Kang Ye Won from Devon High School (haegeum).
Also performing will be renowned popular song artists — Gu Chang Mo, Kwon In Ha, and Shin Hye Bom.
The concert program will include solos for violin and piano, a piano trio, solos for gayageum and haegeum, and more.
