Atambayev: "We have reached 6 million, and the population growth of Kyrgyzstan reflects people's confidence in the future of their country."

According to the Prime Minister, the long-awaited six-millionth Kyrgyzstani is a girl. The baby was born in Osh at 18:12 in the family of serviceman Almaz Kojoshev. The baby's mother, Rakhат Belekova, is feeling well. The newborn weighed 3 kilograms 870 grams. The condition of both mother and girl is good.
In total, from 18:00 on November 25 to 06:00 on November 26, 122 babies were born in various parts of the country.
The President congratulated the parents of the newborn and wished them good health, a long and happy life.
The Head of State noted that the birth of the six-millionth Kyrgyzstani is a happy and joyous event for all the people of Kyrgyzstan. "The growth of the population is considered one of the main indicators of peaceful life, people's confidence in their future, and their aspiration for well-being and prosperity," emphasized Atambaev.
The Head of State noted that at this moment, the most important thing is the health of the newborns, and instructed the Prime Minister to create all conditions to ensure that newborns and their mothers receive all necessary medical care.
The government has been instructed to provide the family of the six-millionth Kyrgyzstani with separate housing. In addition, Atambaev ordered the opening of a deposit account for the girl with 1,000,000 (one million) soms, as well as to allocate 100,000 (one hundred thousand) soms as one-time financial assistance to the families of 10 babies born at the same time as the six-millionth Kyrgyzstani.
The Head of State sent a congratulatory telegram to the parents of the happy baby and addressed the people of Kyrgyzstan with congratulations.
Text of the congratulatory message from the Head of State:
Dear compatriots!
Yesterday, November 25, 2015, brought our country a joyful event - the birth of the 6-millionth Kyrgyzstani!
I sincerely congratulate the parents of the baby on the addition to their family, and all of you, dear fellow citizens, on achieving yet another important indicator of sustainable development of modern Kyrgyzstan!
May this long-awaited child for all our people be healthy, live long and happily! May her family be prosperous, and may her peers and all children of Kyrgyzstan grow up healthy, happy, and successful!
Throughout their long history, the Kyrgyz have faced the threat of extinction as an ethnicity. But today we have our own statehood, and the population of the country has exceeded six million people. Children and adolescents make up 33 percent of the total population of Kyrgyzstan. This indicates the great potential of the country for economic and spiritual prosperity, and that our people have wonderful prospects.
The state policy of Kyrgyzstan in the social sphere is largely aimed at ensuring the best interests of the child. Up to a quarter of the entire country’s budget is directed to the education sector.
According to international experts, Kyrgyzstan has created a good national legislative framework, and a number of international agreements and conventions have been ratified. Our country was the first in Central Asia to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. For all these years, the Kyrgyz Republic has been purposefully working to realize every child's right to a family environment.
However, in order for the children of Kyrgyzstan to grow up healthy and happy, and for their future to be secure, we all still have much to do. Both the state and parents. Society is concerned about the frequent cases of bullying and violence against children. There are many instances where children do not attend school, leave their families, and become homeless.
Every child should grow up in a family; for this, the state and society must join forces. We all must remember that the future of each specific family and, in general, the future of all of Kyrgyzstan depends on how children grow up.
The birth of the six-millionth Kyrgyzstani is a happy and joyous event for all the people of our country. The growth of the population is considered one of the main indicators of peaceful life, people's confidence in their future, and their aspiration for well-being and prosperity.
May all children of Kyrgyzstan grow up in peace and kindness! May they bring joy to their parents and loved ones, and may they bring prosperity and well-being to our country!
President
of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambaev.
