Today, October 24, 2014, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almazbek Atambayev, signed a decree "On the establishment of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan."
According to the decree, taking into account the existing agreements with the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as in order to ensure further development of political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan, it is decreed:
To establish the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with its location in the city of Baku.
The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic is required to:
- within one month, resolve the issues of organizational and financial support for the activities of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan within the funds provided for in the republican budget;
- align its decisions with this decree.
The decree comes into force from the day of official publication.
