Atambayev called for faster road construction to China together with brotherly Uzbekistan.

At the meeting of the National Council for Sustainable Development on November 15 at the state residence "Ala-Archa," Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev called for the urgent construction of roads to China together with "fraternal Uzbekistan."

According to him, the railway funded by Chinese loans will connect the north and south of the mountainous republic. The highway Tashkent—Osh—Kashgar should be started immediately.

“Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping has personally told me multiple times that China needs environmentally friendly products. In China, everything is dependent on fertilizers, while Kyrgyzstan doesn't even have a fertilizer plant; all our products are the cleanest. Since we are being cut off from the EAEU and everyone is indifferent to this, we need to look for other markets, we need to go to China, go to Uzbekistan. Our potatoes are flying away,” Atambayev is convinced.
