
Today, October 24, 2014, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almazbek Atambaev, sent a congratulatory message to the residents of the Batken region on the occasion of the opening of the "Manas" school in the village of Iskra and the K. Boronbaev school in the village of Kok-Tash in the Leilek district of the Batken region.
In the congratulatory message, the Head of State noted that the opening of new schools in the Leilek district of the Batken region is a significant event. "In recent years, we have been paying special attention to education. Every year, billions of soms from the state budget are allocated to this sector. New school standards are gradually being implemented, the material and technical base of educational institutions is being updated, and new schools are being built. These are important steps for our state. After all, the future largely depends on those who are sitting at school desks today," the congratulatory message states.
It was also emphasized that the quality and level of preparation of the younger generation for adult, independent life and successful professional activity largely depend on teachers and educators. "School is the road to the future. The road of knowledge, along which the teacher leads the young generation of Kyrgyzstanis. Therefore, we must duly recognize the work of teachers," the Head of State's congratulatory message says.
