Today, October 24, 2014, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almazbek Atambayev, congratulated the servicemen of the border unit named after Ishak Razakov in the Leilek district of the Batken region on their new homes.
In the congratulatory message sent by the Head of State, it is noted that the new homes for the border guards in the Leilek district is a good sign. “In May, we handed over keys to servicemen in Bishkek for the first time in the history of the border service. In July of this year, the families of emergency service employees received keys to their apartments. In August, servicemen moved into new apartments. This is a good trend. It means that a systematic effort to provide social support for servicemen has begun in Kyrgyzstan.”
The message also emphasizes that border guards face many challenges. “You are always on a responsible post. You serve in harsh conditions: at remote border outposts, day and night, in any weather. Your families share the hardships of service and the difficult daily life. But everything you do, you do for your country, for the sacred duty of protecting the peace and tranquility of your homeland and your fellow citizens. Recent events at the state borders of the country make us think about how fragile peace is and how important stability is for us,” the Head of State noted in his message.
The congratulatory message highlights that the state will continue to pay special attention to improving housing conditions and raising the prestige of the defenders of the homeland. For this purpose, the construction of 15 apartment buildings has begun for servicemen and law enforcement officers.
“Congratulations on your new homes! May each house be filled with comfort, warmth, and happiness! May you always have a reliable support system so that you can faithfully fulfill your duty to the Motherland - to protect the peace of the peaceful citizens of independent Kyrgyzstan with dignity and reliability,” Almazbek Atambayev emphasized in conclusion of his message.
The keys to the new apartments were handed over to the servicemen by the First Deputy Head of the President's Office, Ikramzhan Ilmiyaev.
