In Kyrgyzstan, a crossing for tourist groups has been opened over the Karkyra River bridge.
From July 17 to September 1, international tourist groups will be allowed to cross the Karkyra River bridge in the Chaar-Kuduk area of the Tyup district in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan, outside the "Karkyra-road" checkpoint. This was reported yesterday, July 16, by the press service of the State Border Service.
This decision was made to more effectively organize the tourist season and develop mountain tourism, as well as to implement the agreements reached during the meeting on July 12, 2014, between the Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
The passage of tourist groups across the Karkyra River bridge will be conducted by prior arrangement with tourist companies, and the schedule will be planned in advance.
