There are 100 tourist sites in the Batken region. This was stated today by the plenipotentiary representative of the government in the region, Jenish Razakov, at the international forum "Batken-2014. Developing Tourism - The Key to the Region's Prosperity."
According to him, the level of hotel, transport, food, household, and other service provisions in the region is not only insufficient but also becomes a factor in the unprofitability of the tourism industry.
Additionally, in the opinion of the plenipotentiary representative, the infrastructure in the Batken region does not meet the requirements of the actively developing tourism sector. "Our main problems are the weak material and technical base, the professional training of tourism specialists, the imperfect system of advertising and information support, and the promotion of the national tourist product in domestic and foreign markets," said Jenish Razakov.
