Agricultural Exhibition "Aiyl-Agro"
From May 14 to 16, Kyrgyzstan will showcase its investment potential and national color at the international agricultural exhibition "Aiyl-Agro." This was announced today, March 28, by the exhibition's management.
The project was created by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic to introduce the cultural uniqueness of the republic's people, the achievements of the national economy, and to demonstrate the latest technical solutions in the agricultural sector. The technical organizer of the event will be the Russian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers "Rosagromash" — an experienced organizer of exhibitions at international fairs in Russia, Germany, France, the USA, Morocco, and other countries.
The international agricultural exhibition "Aiyl-Agro" is the only exhibition in the Kyrgyz Republic that presents a full range of equipment and technologies for the agricultural sector from leading global manufacturers.
The theme of the exhibition provides a real insight into the modern approach to the development of the agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan as a whole and agriculture in particular. Among the sections of "Aiyl-Agro" are agricultural machinery, livestock, crop production, food production, bioenergy, leasing, loans and investments in agriculture, as well as consulting and scientific activities. Moreover, Kyrgyzstan will be represented at the exhibition by a National exposition of seven regions and two cities, showcasing the export potential of the republic's agriculture to international investors and the general public.
It is expected that representatives from 40 countries will participate in this year's exhibition, and more than 9,000 people will visit it. Additionally, a large-scale business and educational program is planned as part of "Aiyl-Agro," with participation from government structures, as well as major industry organizations and associations.
A significant interest among visitors will be generated by the 2nd National Agricultural Investment Forum, which will take place on May 14 at the T. Abdumomunov Kyrgyz Drama Theater. The event will focus on examples of investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and other countries in the agricultural sector.
One of the key events of the business program will be the "Bishkek International Financial Forum 2014" (BIFF 2014), which will be held on May 15, 2014, at the "Ak-Keme" hotel. The main topics of the forum will include leasing, financial literacy, and mobile banking. Additionally, there will be a meeting of the International Banking Council with representatives from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, and other countries. Considering the list of relevant issues in finance, credit, production, and other areas, including the prospects for the development of new financial products and services, the upcoming forum will take place in an expanded context.
