Graduated from the Moscow Machine Tool Institute (1965), postgraduate studies at KGU. Worked as a fitter-assembler, engineer-technologist, senior engineer-technologist, foreman, shift supervisor at a factory, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head of department, deputy dean, dean of KGU, rector of the Osh Higher Technical College, advisor to the head of the Osh regional state administration, director of the Institute of Social Sciences of the Southern Branch of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1999 - director of the Institute of Law, Economics, and Management of Osh State University.
Specialist in the field of management of the national economy and its sectors. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1992).
Published more than 100 scientific works, including 3 monographs and 2 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 1 candidate dissertation has been defended.
