Tashiev Jumagul
Applied artist. Born on January 10, 1956, in the At-Bashinsky district. In 1981, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov, applied arts department (ceramics).
Since 1981, he has been an artist at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR. Member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The ancient theme of "Saymaluu Tash" is widely reflected in Tashiev's works. His art revives ancient and eternal images from visual folklore. A keen eye, creative potential, and artistic mastery have allowed the master to convey to us the living breath of time.
An active participant in republican exhibitions. His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in private collections both in the near and far abroad.
