Kamensky Alexey Nikolaevich
Monumentalist. Painter. People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic. Professor, full member of the Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on July 29, 1938, in Moscow.
In 1956, he graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School and in 1962 - from the Department of Monumental and Decorative Painting of the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School (formerly Stroganov School). He has been in Kyrgyzstan since 1962.
The artist works in various genres of easel painting (narrative painting, portrait, landscape). As a painter, he is characterized by attention to the problems of artistic form, especially color.
Awarded the Bronze Medal of the VDNH of the USSR, Honorary Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Since 1966 - member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Participant in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions. His works are held in the KNMII named after G. Aitieva, in museums of the CIS, as well as in private collections in near and far abroad.
