Moldobaev Karybek Moldobaevich (1932),

Candidate of Philosophical Sciences (1956), Professor

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Mantysh, Kochkor District, Naryn Region.

Graduated from KGU (1952), postgraduate studies at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Moscow, 1956).

Worked as head of the department at KGU, head of the science, educational institutions, and culture department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, first secretary of the Frunze City Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, deputy chairman of the Council for Religious Affairs under the Council of Ministers of the USSR, and since 1995 - rector of KTU "Manas".

Specialist in the field of philosophy and cultural studies.

Awarded the Orders of the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor, and other awards from the USSR and the Kyrgyz Republic.

Honorary citizen of Bishkek. More than 50 scientific works published, including 2 monographs.

Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
