Sukhomlinov Georgy Akimovich (1906-1975),

Russian. Born in Frunze.

Graduated from Moscow State University (Moscow, 1933).

Worked as the head of the library at a sugar factory in the Kursk region, secretary of the district committee of the Komsomol in the village of Oboyan, teacher, dean, head of the department at KSU, rector of FPI (KSTU).

Awarded the Orders of the Great Patriotic War and the Red Banner of Labor. A street in Bishkek is named after him.

Published more than 200 scientific works.

Under his supervision, doctoral and candidate dissertations were defended.
