Russian. Born in the village of Semyonovka, Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation Engineers and Mechanization of Agriculture (1953).

Worked in the following institutes: SAOgidroproyekt, Kyrgyzgiprostroy, Kyrgyzgiprovodkhoz, Institute of Energy of the Kazakh SSR, SANIIRTC, Uzgiprovodkhoz, KyrgSHi, VNIIKA of Melioration, KyrNIIE of Agroindustry, Institute of Economic Research of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economics, KyrNIIRI, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Water Problems and Hydropower of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, since 1999 - head of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering at KSTU.

Specialist in the field of water supply, hydropower, melioration, and hydraulic engineering construction.

Published more than 290 scientific works, including monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and inventions.

1. Hydraulic structures on mountainous and foothill sections of rivers and canals in Kyrgyzstan. Frunze, 1966.
