Suyumbaev Tzhumaly Abakirovich (1936),

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Anusten, Jeti-Oguz District, Issyk-Kul Region.

Graduated from KSHI (1957), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1965).

Worked as a district hydraulic engineer, irrigation systems management engineer, junior researcher, senior researcher, head of the laboratory, deputy director for science at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Water Management, deputy director for science at the All-Union Research Institute of Melioration, simultaneously served as deputy general director of the All-Union Production Association "Soyuzvodavtomatika", director of the design office "Kirgizvodproekt", director of the Scientific and Technical Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz SSR, associate professor, professor, and since 1994 - head of the department at the Kyrgyz Agrarian Academy named after K.I. Skryabin.

Specialist in the field of agricultural melioration.

Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1974), medal of the USSR.

Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Under his supervision, 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.

Published more than 90 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 1 textbook, and 14 inventions.
