Kyrgyz. Born in the city of Shurab, Republic of Tajikistan. Graduated from KGU (1971).
Worked as a junior, senior, leading researcher, head of the department at the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1995 - consultant to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the history of Kyrgyzstan, historical and economic issues of the republic's agriculture.
Published more than 100 scientific works.
