Doctor of Technical Sciences (1981), Professor (1982), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1989), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kirghiz SSR in the field of science and technology (1977)
Russian. Born in Ulan-Ude.
Graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (1960), and completed postgraduate studies there (1964).
Worked as an assistant at TPI, junior and senior researcher at the Institute of Mining of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Mining and Geotechnical Engineering of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, chief scientific secretary of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1998 - chief researcher at the Institute of Machine Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of mining machine engineering.
Awarded Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR (1976, 1983, 1985).
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).
Published more than 140 scientific works, including 7 monographs and 18 inventions.
Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 18 candidate dissertations have been defended.
