Bochkarov Yakov Vasilievich

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Honored Inventor of the Kyrgyz SSR, Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of Science and Technology.

Born in 1928. In 1954, he graduated from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute named after Skryabin.

He worked as the head of the Department of Hydraulics and Automation, Dean of the Faculty of Land Reclamation, and Vice-Rector for Research at the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute named after Skryabin.

A leading specialist in the field of hydraulic automation of land reclamation systems.

For his fruitful scientific work and training of specialists, he was awarded the Order of the "Badge of Honor" and a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Under his supervision, 5 doctoral and 37 candidate dissertations were defended.

He has published more than 300 scientific works, including 6 monographs, 8 textbooks and teaching aids, and is the author of 156 inventions.
