Babak Valentin Fedorovich (1937), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1994), Professor (1996).Ukrainian. Born in the city of Smela, Kyiv region of the Ukrainian SSR. Graduated from the FPI (1961), postgraduate studies at the Moscow Machine-Tool Institute (1969).
Worked as a lathe operator, design engineer, head of a workshop at a factory, senior lecturer, head of the department, associate professor at FPI, head of the educational and methodological department, dean of the special faculty for retraining specialists, since 1994 - professor, head of the department at KTU. Specialist in the development of automated design systems for machine engineering objects; formal-language modeling.
Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (1998). Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR (1964). Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. Published over 120 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 6 textbooks, 4 electronic textbooks and monographs.
