Batkibekova Minira (1940), Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1990), Professor (1991).Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Oktyabrskoye, Moscow District, Chui Region. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Food Industry (Bulgaria, 1962), postgraduate studies (1967).
Worked as a senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head of department, dean, vice-rector, and since 1997 - director of the NIKHTI KTU. Specialist in the field of chemical thermodynamics, food chemistry, and ecology. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1994), International Academy of Sciences (1996).
Awarded Honorary Certificates from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1977, 1987), medals of the USSR (1985) and the Kyrgyz Republic (1999). Honored Worker of Public Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).
Published over 200 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 5 inventions, and 10 patents. Under her supervision, 1 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations have been defended.
