Jewish. Born in the Dagestan region.
Graduated from Leningrad State University (Leningrad, 1924), State Institute of Medical Knowledge (1926).
Worked as Deputy Director for Science and Head of the Laboratory of Ecological Physiology at the Institute of Physiology and Experimental Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of normal physiology.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR (1983).
Published over 280 scientific works, including 12 monographs and 2 textbooks.
Under his supervision, doctoral and candidate dissertations have been defended.
