Temporary changes in access to the "Manas" airport terminal apply only to certain groups of citizens: elderly people, mothers with children, and persons with disabilities.
According to the press service of the OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," due to repairs at the International Airport "Manas," traffic towards the main terminal is restricted. Vehicles are turned around at the turn to the cargo terminal, which is located 500 meters from the main building.
To ensure the safety and convenience of passengers, access to the terminal is allowed only for the following categories of individuals:
• elderly citizens;
• mothers with small children;
• passengers with limited mobility;
• individuals with serious health conditions.
The airport also noted that due to the new restrictions, entry to the terminal for those meeting and seeing off passengers will be closed. Food and beverage sales points will be organized at the entrance to the terminal complex.
In addition, a closed waiting area is provided where passengers can stay in comfortable conditions, protected from rain and snow. Over the next two weeks, the distance required to approach the terminal will be reduced by 300 meters, ensuring a quicker and more convenient arrival at the airport building.
“We urge passengers to take the current situation into account and plan their time for approaching the terminal and passing all necessary procedures before departure in advance to avoid delays. The management of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" apologizes for the temporary inconveniences and expresses gratitude for your understanding,” the airport stated.
“All ongoing work is being carried out as part of the airport infrastructure modernization program aimed at enhancing the comfort and safety of passenger services,” the statement added.
