From October 17 to 31, the UN is HOLDING AN EXHIBITION IN BISHKEK, THE FORMAT OF WHICH IS UNIQUE FOR KYRGYZSTAN.
From October 17 to 31, the UN Representation in Kyrgyzstan is holding an exhibition at the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of the KR "Oak Park" in an unusual format. For the first time in Bishkek, alongside works by recognized Kyrgyz artists and the brightest representatives of the younger generation, paintings created by children with disabilities will be exhibited. The idea behind this unusual exhibition, titled "My Kyrgyzstan: How I See It," is to provide residents and guests of Bishkek with the opportunity to not only familiarize themselves with the works of several generations of Kyrgyz artists but also to demonstrate how rich the inner world and limitless the creative abilities of children, whose opportunities are limited in other ways, can be. These children will be present at the exhibition; they will have the chance to meet famous artists, feel the atmosphere of the art world, and see the recognition of their talent, which, according to specialists, is so necessary for them. The event will involve those whose further fate largely depends on these children – employees of government bodies, international and public organizations, as well as representatives of the business elite. Any visitor will be able to purchase a painting they like, with all proceeds going to its author. The UN in Kyrgyzstan asks our national partners from the media and other organizations to inform as many potential visitors as possible about this unique exhibition, which is dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the UN and opens a series of events summarizing 22 years of UN work in Kyrgyzstan.
