The Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures has opened updated laboratories and facilities in the biotechnology department. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
The event was attended by Minister Bakyt Torobaev, who familiarized himself with the work of the laboratories.
The new and modernized premises, equipped with advanced technological solutions, provide the opportunity to conduct high-quality biotechnological research. Currently, the biotechnology department houses breeding bulls whose semen undergoes the processes of freezing, storage, and preparation for further use.
The launch of this center creates favorable conditions for determining the origin, breeding characteristics, and productivity of purebred livestock in Kyrgyzstan, as well as for conducting laboratory tests on the quality of semen from breeding animals that will be imported.
